Wax Seal Charm Necklace Tutorial
Tutorial by Adrianne Surian
This simple, versatile design can be personalized in an infinite number of ways! Adrianne chose this cute copper bee charm, but you could use any of our wax seal charms and the chain of your choice for your own unique look. |
Add a personal touch to this project with any gemstone, glass, or other type of accent bead of your choosing. |
Suggested Tools & Materials:
|
Begin by threading your accent bead onto an eye pin, and use the round nose pliers to form a second loop/eye on the open end. Wrap the end of the pin around the round pliers, overlapping it as shown above. Then, trim any excess wire with flush cutters. |
Next, connect the pendant to the bead connector you just made using a 5mm jump ring. The beaded connector can be twisted open and closed again. |
Cut your chain in half to create two 18" lengths, and thread them through your tube bail. |
Add a jump ring to each of the ends of your two chains, connecting them together, and add a lobster clasp to one of the ends. |
Finally, attach the pendant to the bail using the loop of your beaded connector. It's that simple! Mixing and matching different sizes, textures, and themes can give you the unique look you're going for. |
