These metal plated plastic beads are an affordable and extremely lightweight alternative to (solid) metal beads. They were made in China and are lead-free. They are tarnish-resistant and the plating is very secure, but with rough treatment it can chip. Measures approximately 8mm x 3mm (1mm hole).
