This ancient Roman glass was found in the Nimroz province of Afghanistan. The beads are between 900 & 1200 years old, and were excavated approximately 10 years ago. Glass has not been produced in this area for 900 years. As with all handmade beads, please expect slight imperfections in size, shape and color. Expect chips and breaks as this is the nature of these particular beads. Please note that this strand features a bead that has a crack along the inside surface, but does not seem especially fragile. This item is one of a kind and you will receive the exact strand pictured.
